I'm sure that you have all been waiting for this bit of news ......
They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words, so have a look at the slide show.

OK, so the next move is to wait .... a month or so to ensure that the 3.5 cubic meters of re-enforced concrete cures properly.
About 7.5 metric tones, and just short of £400.
We need a drop of rain each day, otherwise I'll be having to go up each day to water ... Just a shower, first thing in the morning would be nice.
Once it's cured, then we can install the tower.
The next requirement is to engineer some means of attaching the two 1m x 1.6m solar panels to the upper section of the tower.
There is also a requirement to straighten several bent/distorted cross braces in the tower sections.
In addition, we will need to obtain some means of preventing Mr. Idiot, from attempting to climb the tower or even attempting to unbolt it from it's base.
So with a bit of luck, if everything comes together, somewhere around about the middle of October, GB3JB, should be just about ready to put back on air.
My sincere thanks to David, Carl, Chris, Chris, Chris, Chris, Frank, Mike and Stuart, whose help with sorting the hole and base, etc., was invaluable. If I have forgotten any one, my apologies.
I cannot thank all you guys enough, and just hope that all the users of JB will appreciate all the time and effort, you have put in, and will undoubtedly continue to provide to make sure the project reaches a successful conclusion. I could not do it without your help.
Cheers & 73's
Dave, G3ZXX.
